Idaho Freedom PAC, one of the most effective voices for electing liberty-focused candidates in the Gem State, is proud to announce new leadership.
Former state lawmaker Jacyn Gallagher, a conservative from Weiser, has stepped into a new role as chair for Idaho Freedom PAC. Gallagher served one term in the Idaho Legislature. In 2023, she notched a 92% on the Idaho Freedom Foundation’s Freedom Index, and a stellar 97.9% on the Foundation’s Idaho Spending Index.
Gallagher expressed her excitement at the chance to promote the cause of Liberty and help genuine conservatives win elections..
“Idaho Freedom PAC has played a key role in filling the Idaho Statehouse with conservative lawmakers,” she explained. “While we’ve seen that work pay off in a big way this legislative session, we all see there’s much work to do to make Idaho the conservative bastion it should be. I’m ready to get to work.”
As a former lawmaker, Gallagher brings a unique perspective to Idaho Freedom PAC.
“I’ve seen how swampy things are in Boise, and it’s worse than anyone imagines,” Gallagher noted. “Now, more than ever, we need to drain the swamp to ensure the government is representing the people, and not special interests, powerful politicians or big business.”
Idaho Freedom Foundation President Ron Nate, who serves as an advisor to Idaho Freedom PAC, welcomes Gallagher as chairwoman. “Jacyn was a champion of liberty in the Idaho House, and that’s why Idaho Freedom PAC endorsed her last year,” Nate said. “We are thrilled she is joining us as we seek to defeat unprincipled, moderate politicians who aren’t working for Idaho voters.”
Idaho Freedom PAC, founded in 2022, helped ignite the conservative takeover in the Idaho Capitol. The PAC was instrumental in the re-election of Sen. Dan Foreman, a conservative from District 6. This year, Foreman has passed several pro-freedom bills, and has focused on health freedom initiatives. This is but one example where the PAC played a big role in winning key races during the 2024 elections.
