In Idaho's Republican primary, almost every candidate is promising to be a conservative. Indeed, a lot of groups with fancy sounding names like "Idaho Liberty PAC" and the "Conservative Accountability Project" claim that their endorsed candidates support conservative values, knowing full well it's not true.
Many of those phony "conservative" organizations are either funded or staffed by leftists who want to take away your Second Amendment rights, oppose school choice, and support abortion. They're endorsing candidates who they know are most likely to vote with leftist Democrats who want to make our state more like California, Oregon, or Washington.
We've created these voter guides to help you separate the true conservative from the pretenders. We reviewed public records, public statements and interviews, involvement in conservative causes, and the Idaho Freedom Foundation's Freedom Index,. This helped us identify the candidates we think are most likely to stick by our conservative principles and fearlessly defend our constitutionally-protected rights, and which candidates are full of crap.
But don't just take our word for it. Do your research and make sure that your votes are cast for actual, honest, and consistent conservatives, and not pretenders and their leftist friends.
Note: Idaho Freedom PAC did not endorse in every district. Nor did the PAC endorse in uncontested races. Additionally, some candidates are not endorsed, but rather recommended in their respective election contests.
